A mailing label is useful, but it is not a municipal border. The Caledonia ZIP code directory helps narrow a person or property search across the village's overlapping Racine County postal geography. Begin with an exact street address when one is known. Confirm its current postal form through USPS, then compare the result with the village or county parcel record. That two-part check is important because Caledonia addresses may carry Racine or Franksville as the delivery city. A ZIP search can reduce a large result set, yet deeds, tax records, voter information, and maps still define different links between people and place.

Caledonia ZIP Code Coverage

Village Resolution 2025-020 identifies six ZIP codes that affect Caledonia territory. It directly links 53108 with Caledonia in its policy discussion and lists five more postal areas that intersect or affect the village. The resolution is a municipal position document, not proof that USPS has completed any boundary change. Each row therefore keeps the city labels used in that dated source and avoids assigning an unverified post office.

The post office entries are official location leads, not an assertion that every address in the ZIP uses that station. The research found no official ZIP-by-ZIP village population totals, complete station assignments, or Caledonia-only PO-box ZIP. Those gaps matter. A careful ZIP code directory labels what was not established instead of filling blanks with estimates.

Why Caledonia Uses Six ZIPs

Caledonia spans about 45 square miles, and postal routes do not follow the village line. Resolution 2025-020 describes the administrative burden of having six ZIP codes affect village territory and supports a move toward one unique ZIP. Its policy framing says just one ZIP is directly linked with Caledonia, while the others carry nearby recognized city names.

The proposal does not itself change a delivery address. The resolution notes that USPS boundary review or recognized city-name updates may occur around mid-August, but the reviewed sources did not confirm a completed realignment. Treat the single-ZIP effort as a 2025 initiative. Recheck USPS on the date a record is used.

Dated proposal. Caledonia's 2025 resolution supports one unique ZIP, but only USPS can confirm a current delivery code for a specific address.

That six-to-one push is the defining quirk in the Caledonia ZIP code directory. It also explains why search results can look inconsistent without being wrong.

Searching Caledonia Postal Records

The USPS ZIP Code Lookup offers three useful modes. “By Address” is the strongest choice because it standardizes one delivery point. “By City and State” finds postal codes linked to a city label. “Cities by ZIP” returns recognized city names for a code. None confirms that a person or company occupies the address.

USPS ModeFieldsBest UseLimit
By AddressCompany optional; street required; unit; city; state; ZIP optionalConfirm exact mailing formNot proof of occupant or municipality
By City and StateCity and stateFind codes associated with a postal cityCan return more than one ZIP
Cities by ZIPZIPReview recognized delivery-city labelsDoes not map village limits

If the postal city is uncertain, enter the full street address with city and state. If that fails, try city and state without a ZIP. When more than one code appears, return to the exact address. Save the date of the lookup because recognized names and routes can change.

Caledonia ZIP Post Office Clues

USPS location results provide useful anchors for three parts of the ZIP code directory. The Franksville Post Office is listed at 3319 Roberts Street, Caledonia, WI 53126-9998, with phone 262-886-3664. USPS also lists the Caledonia office at 11510 County Road G in 53108, Four Mile Station at 2635 4 Mile Road in Racine 53404, and West Racine at 1300 Perry Avenue in Racine 53406.

Those addresses show why place labels must be read with care. The Franksville facility has a physical address in Caledonia while serving a Franksville-labeled ZIP. A Racine-named station can serve routes outside the City of Racine. Check the official location record for current retail hours and services, since the research did not preserve dated hours.

A post office lead helps with mail service, hold-mail questions, or the correct public counter. It does not establish which station delivers every address in the ZIP. The exact USPS address result remains the controlling postal check.

Checking Caledonia ZIP Parcels

After USPS returns a postal form, use the Racine County Tax Inquiry to test municipal and parcel context. The system accepts owner name, street address, or parcel ID. Ascent fields include Category, Municipality, Street Number, Street Name, Mailing Address, First Name, Last Name, Tags, USPLS, and Sort By. Its results show Parcel, Owner(s), Site Address, Privacy Expiration Date, and Tax Years.

Select Caledonia as municipality where that option is offered. Keep the parcel ID exactly as displayed and avoid reading meaning into its digits. The county GIS parcel layer exposes PARCELID, SITEADDRESS, and MapBookLinks, but map geometry is an aid rather than a survey or legal boundary. For legal land detail, consult the recorded deed, survey, or plat.

The Village Assessor page provides the public property-search entry point.

The assessor route helps separate the physical site from a postal label, while still avoiding any claim that assessed ownership proves occupancy.

Racine Labels in Caledonia ZIPs

A Racine postal city does not automatically place an address in the City of Racine. Resolution 2025-020 pairs 53402 with Racine and Wind Point, 53404 with Racine and Mount Pleasant, 53405 with Racine, Elmwood Park, and Mount Pleasant, and 53406 with Racine and Mount Pleasant. These are mailing-geography descriptions, not parcel findings.

Franksville works the same way. The 53126 label affects village territory, but a postal label alone does not prove that a parcel lies inside or outside Caledonia. For any exact address, pair the USPS result with Ascent's municipality field, the county parcel layer, or a village record. If legal boundaries matter, use a deed, plat, or survey held by the Register of Deeds.

This distinction prevents a common ZIP code directory error: turning a recognized city name into a government-jurisdiction claim. Postal systems route mail. Municipal records identify the public body responsible for the parcel or service.

Caledonia ZIP Boundaries and Limits

ZIP boundaries, carrier routes, ZIP+4 codes, municipal limits, tax districts, and recorded parcel lines are different systems. A ZIP may cross more than one municipality. A ZIP+4 narrows delivery to a smaller segment, while a carrier route groups deliveries for postal operations. Neither one proves that a named person occupies an address.

ZIP code
A USPS delivery-area code that can cross municipal borders.
ZIP+4
The basic ZIP plus four digits that identify a smaller delivery segment.
PO-box ZIP
A code reserved mainly or only for post office boxes; none specific to Caledonia was established.
Unique ZIP
A code assigned for one organization or recipient; Caledonia's resolution seeks a single village ZIP, which is a different policy idea.
Carrier route
A group of addresses organized for mail delivery, not a resident roll.

The reviewed official sources did not supply ZIP-wide population, voter totals, full post-office assignments, or a completed realignment date for Caledonia. Leave those values unstated. A reliable result should retain the source, date, and exact relationship: delivery code, owner mailing address, site address, registered voter address, or recorded land description.

Boundary check. A Caledonia ZIP code is delivery geography. Confirm village jurisdiction through the parcel record and use lawful, limited searches for people.
